WHY WE ARE RAISING?
Safer digital childhood should not depend on parents becoming safety experts.
Parents today are expected to manage an increasingly complex digital environment, from harmful content and inappropriate material to scams, grooming, addictive design and online manipulation. Existing parental controls are fragmented, difficult to manage and often place too much responsibility on parents and guardians to understand which settings, apps and protections are right for each child.
We are raising funds to help build Guardian Compass, a family-first digital safeguarding platform designed to make the online world safer for children. Our aim is to create intelligent, age-appropriate safeguarding that works at device level, helping protect children while still allowing them the freedom to learn, explore and become more independent as they grow.

Complete core safeguarding, device-management and parental experience development.
Prepare Guardian Compass for use in real homes, with the stability, security and usability needed for an initial family cohort.
Run an initial pilot with 20–50 families, gathering structured feedback from parents, guardians and children.
Refine the safeguarding experience with real-world evidence.
Validate the technical and safeguarding approach before broader use.

Why this matters
Childhood has changed. Children now learn, socialise, communicate and explore through technology from an increasingly young age. That brings enormous opportunity, but it also exposes families to risks that are difficult to identify, understand and manage.
We believe safeguarding should work differently: technology should help carry more of the burden; protection should develop with children; and families should have better tools to create a safer path between unrestricted access and blanket bans.
Where Guardian Compass is today
Founder funded, Guardian Compass has progressed beyond the initial idea stage. The product vision, safeguarding framework, system architecture, low-level design and user experience have been developed, with core technical elements prototyped. The next critical step is structured family testing.

Contributors become Guardian Compass Founding Supporters: part of the earliest community supporting our mission. With consent, we may acknowledge supporters and share progress updates. Being a Founding Supporter does not provide a financial interest, product entitlement, subscription, guaranteed testing place or other commercial benefit.
Contributions are donations
Guardian Compass is a private limited company developing a commercial digital safeguarding platform. Contributions made through this campaign are donations in support of development, testing and pilot activity. They are not an investment, equity or ownership, a loan, a pre-order, a subscription, guaranteed product access, guaranteed participation in future testing, or a financial return. Any future opportunities will be offered separately and independently.
How we will report progress
During and after the campaign, we intend to share updates on major development stages, preparation for family testing, commencement of the first family cohort, learning from early testing, safeguarding and usability improvements, and progress towards larger pilots. We will never share personal or sensitive information relating to children or participating families.
