SHORT DESCRIPTION

Guardian Compass is building safeguarding technology families can trust, helping parents create safer Android boundaries for every child in the family, through automated safeguarding and the ability to stop dangerous content in real time.

EXTENDED DESCRIPTION

Guardian Compass is being built for real families: multiple children, multiple devices, and too few dependable safeguards. We are a UK child digital safeguarding company building a smarter way for families to protect the Android devices children use every day. Children are using connected devices earlier, whilst parents are expected to manage increasingly complex digital risks. The platform is designed to help parents create safer boundaries across phones and tablets, with less app-by-app managing and fewer easy workarounds.

Founder bios

Aurorah Smith, Founder & CEO

Aurorah Smith is a parent, former teacher and cybersecurity leader who has spent her career working at the intersection of people, technology and digital safety, including within the mobile industry.

She founded Guardian Compass after experiencing first-hand how difficult it can be for parents to keep children safe online without becoming overly restrictive or relying on fragmented tools.

Today, Aurorah is building a simpler, smarter approach to digital safeguarding that gives parents confidence while helping children develop healthy independence in the digital world.

Her work has earned recognition across the technology and cybersecurity community, including finalist honours in national industry awards.

Approved talking points:

We believe digital safeguarding should be simple, effective and accessible, giving families greater confidence as children grow, learn and explore online.

Guardian Compass brings safeguarding closer to the device itself, using Android boundaries to help families set age-appropriate protections across a child’s digital experience, rather than relying on separate controls for individual apps and services.

We are building safeguarding technology around the reality of family life: different children, different ages and changing levels of independence, giving parents clearer oversight while helping children explore the digital world more safely.
